What is Bakuchiol? Bakuchiol is a plant-derived active ingredient obtained from the seeds of Psoralea corylifolia. It is often described as a natural alternative to retinol because it has demonstrated similar effects on several signs of skin ageing, without being a retinoid itself. Clinical research has shown that bakuchiol can help improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and skin firmness. In a 12-week randomized study comparing bakuchiol with retinol, both ingredients significantly improved wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, while bakuchiol was better tolerated. Why we use Bakuchiol JARDIDORA Solid Face Serum combines Bakuchiol with carefully selected botanical oils, extracts and cupuaçu butter to nourish and protect the skin. The solid, water-free formula is designed as a standalone face and décolletage serum, simplifying your skincare routine without the need for multiple products. It is particularly suited to mature and sensitive skin that needs nourishment and protection from dehydration and environmental conditions. How to use After cleansing, apply a small amount to slightly damp or towel-dried skin. Start with an amount approximately the size of a grain of rice. Warm the serum between your fingertips until it melts, then gently smooth over the face, neck and décolletage. Allow a few minutes for the serum to absorb before applying other cosmetic products, if desired. Adjust the amount according to your skin's needs. Suitable for day and night use. What is Shikakai? Shikakai (Senegalia rugata) is a plant traditionally used in India for hair care and cleansing. Its fruit pods, leaves and bark have traditionally been dried, ground and used as a natural hair cleanser. Shikakai is valued for its gentle cleansing properties and long history of use in traditional Ayurvedic hair care. Shikakai & Rice Hair & Body Bar JARDIDORA Shikakai & Rice is a solid cleansing bar for hair, scalp and body, formulated with gentle surfactants, plant-derived ingredients and rice starch. Shikakai gently cleanses the hair and scalp, while rice starch helps support the skin's natural barrier and comfort. Research has shown beneficial effects of rice starch on damaged skin barrier function and skin affected by atopic dermatitis when used as a bath additive. The combination is designed to cleanse without unnecessary stripping, leaving hair, scalp and skin feeling clean, soft and cared for. How to use Moisten your hair, scalp and body. Wet the bar and rub it between your palms to create a gentle lather, or apply the bar directly to wet hair, scalp and body. Massage the lather into the hair and scalp as you would with a regular shampoo, and use on the body as a shower cleanser. Rinse thoroughly with water and repeat if needed, especially for long or heavily soiled hair. After use, rinse the bar, allow it to air-dry and keep it in a dry place between uses.
